Either create a room and share the code, or join an existing room (up to six people).
This creates a simple, ephemeral, encrypted chat room which does not require an account. Just create a room and share the link to invite.
Some basic usage statistics and IP addresses are logged to prevent abuse. When peers cannot connect directly (e.g., users are behind a firewall which restricts peer to peer traffic), traffic is automatically relayed.
Type /help in the message box once you have joined to list the available slash commands, which include /name to change your display name, /image to share an inline image, /file to share a file (only accept files from people you trust), /gltf to open the 3D model viewer, /pdf to open the shared PDF viewer, /close to leave the room and return to this screen, and /suggest to send a suggestion to the admin.
Individual text messages are capped at 512 characters, shared images and PDFs at 10 MB, and GLTF models at 100 MB. Relayed traffic is subject to a cumulative bandwidth limit of 10 MB after which the room is closed.
